My friend and I put together a custom box for 2 vvx 8" and tuned them for 40hz and they still dig pretty low. We are in the process of doing a full Skar build in his ranger going active on the front and using 6.5 inch mid bass drivers and possibly a dual aero port box for the 2 8s if he makes up his mind on the design.The Prime 500×l amp costs a bit more than Skars 500×1(higher quality line) amp. They do get a little warm and are prone to pull more current then korean made amps, dont use bass boost causes alot of distortion but like brave said they serve a purpose. They are mediocre at best. The RP line is hot (literally) garbage.
