The Plex server is running on a Xeon E5640 with 4 GB RAM. The HTPC client running on Win10 is next door to office and connected on wifi to the same powerline adapter. The client has a soundcard to play via DirectPlay media with Dolby Digital EAC3 track. I've a Roku downstairs next to the main router and it runs smoother with some buffering issues.4K HEVC with forced transcoding AND SRT subtitles -> works. 4K HEVC with forced transcoding AND PGS subtitles -> constant buffering.
