Jimmy Lynn Byrd, 59, of Broadway, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Jimmy was born April 13, 1963 in Lee County to the late Carol Ray Brown and Charles Lee Byrd, Sr. He was graduate of Western Harnett High School and attended Central Carolina Community College and DeVry University of Georgia. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:45 PM Monday, June 12, 2023, at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Visitation will be Friday, September 4th from 6 pm to 8 pm at O’Quinn -Peebles-Phillips Funeral home in Lillington, NC and all other times the family will receive friends at the home of Gerald and Sandra Tigrett. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 5th at 11 am at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home chapel.
