Guan Yu is kinda trash until you max it out because the passive of less health is a run killer if you aren’t careful. Really hard to use without upgrading imo.

Guan Yu is a subpar aspect. The HP penalty is way too much for the minuscule health recovery. The best way I've found to play it is to just use the special. Focus on buffing special damage, use the pierced butterfly keepsake, and then play it as if its a bow.
