Hello 2007scape, returning player here. I had some questions about Elvarg. I’ve completed everything in the quest up to building the boat. Apart from decent food and a rune shortsword what are the things I should bring to the fight? Can I use a potion of dragon fire (or whatever the potion for dragon fire is called) if I’m F2P?Despite having "no weakness," magic is incredibly shit against Elvarg and melee will dominate more. I've seen people fail it on T40 magic gear and turn around and succeed at it in T20 melee gear. Part of this is because melee is better designed for shield usage at that level band than magic is, but overall it's just an unbalanced boss.Crandor.
