It is a 3970010 4 bolt main 350. Dished pistons with the valve relieves. Cam had one rounded off lobe and the lifter that ran on that lobe was concaved. Heads are 3998991's This seems to be a low compression smogger type motor. Other than the cam lobe all the other items including pitons are in very good shape.The block casting number you gave doesn't exist, but it is fairly easy to figure out what you meant...."397010" is a digit short, the actual number is probably "3970010" which is a 4.00" bore block made from 1968-1979. The date code "B125" come out as "B" = February, "12" = day, "5" = last digit of year, which for that block casting would have ...3970010 = 68-80 350 2 or 4 bolt main 4 inch bore J67= October 6 1967, or 1977. This block was not cast in 67, so that leaves 77. If it says hecho in mexico on the block, I think it was above the pad location, it is a target 350 or crate engine built in Mexico.

re: 3970010. Can you post the id letters and numbers that you see on the engine block on the the small extension of the block surface just below and ahead of the head on the passenger side. I have found Four numbers. 3970010 along with "hecho en mexico" on the back drivers side. 254 on the back passenger side. 010 on the drivers side in front of the oil filter. and the engine code is "MK01800."These numbers are from the front pad. 21B650536 K04 17 CTL.
