If you’re on a budget get the PGs. If you want a Kobe like shoe get the brons. if you want the best of the best then get the wow 10 or 808 2 ultras, both of them are amazing and very bouncy. The "ankle support" that traditional high-top basketball shoes is actually part of the problem. The ankle needs to be able to invert and evert (supinate and pronate) to attenuate torque and ground reaction forces. As a physical therapist, I have this conversation with patients all the time. The high-top is simply a dogmatic practice.I rolled my ankle on the 36s twice in 1 training session - which could have been much worse than it was. The 36s also ripped up my pinkys due to them being so narrow in the forefoot (this was after upsizing half a size and then a whole size with the same issue).
